January was spent playing with all of the new toys from Christmas. The weather as been amazing. Fall finally reached the desert. Leaves are falling and are so fun to play in. We have been opening the window in the kids room in the morning while listening to music on Pandora and just playing. It is a magical time. Genivieve and Dieter play so well together and I love watching them interact.
I can't believe my baby will be one next month! It has been a challenging year trying to help him be comfortable and happy. I love my little boy so much. I finally decided it was about time we all got some sleep around here and put Luke in his crib in the kids room to "sleep train". G slept with us for three night and It was a smashing success. Lukey Dieter now sleeps through the night instead of nursing every 1-3 hours. I am beyond thankful for 8 solid hours of sleep, it was a long 11 months without it.

My terrible cold turned into Bronchitis and as a result from all of the coughing I broke 3 ribs. Not a great start to the year. Thank goodness Papa and Connie could come watch the babies while I took some pain meds and crashed out.
