March has been a good Month. With cool weather, The Gilbert Temple Open House and Dedication, lots of rain and Spring Break. I think it will be hard to top this month.

Little Man Turns One

Today my first born son turned one.

Luke,

From the moment I found out I was expecting I loved you with everything I had. IT was a magical Fathers day and Dad and I were thrilled to know another baby would be joining in on the fun. My pregnancy with you was hard. I was sick a lot, but the thought of holding you made me so excited I pushed through those hard days. My labor with you was a calm and bonding experience just me a Dad. Then you arrived and my heart almost burst with love! You came with such presence. You were all boy and the most handsome baby. Son, I have loved you with the strongest Maternal love from the very beginning. You are a very special spirit. A very valiant one indeed.  This last year with you was rocky, but my love for you never wavered. You are a fussy one, I know you don't feel well. We won't hold it against you. When you are happy, it is simply spectacular. Only those closest to you get to see that side, but that's okay. Your Dad, Genivieve and myself love you to pieces. You are our Lukey, Lukey Dieter, Dieter Man, Deetz and we love you to the Moon and Back. HAPPY BIRTHDAY baby Boy!

On your very special day you woke up in the best of moods! You and I spent some pecious alone time feeding you breakfast before Daddy and G woke up. We laughed, sang songs and just enjoyed the moment.

We headed to the store to buy the traditional birthday donuts. We even played in the fun car buggy.

"Luke Dieter you are the only one. Lukes Dieter, I love my little son." This is the silly song I made up one day while you were screaming as a tiny baby. It seemed to calm you and it has become our little thing. We love you Dieter, one is going to be a great year!

February 2014

February has been a month of enjoying the simple things. My two sweet babies have become best friends and there is nothing more adorable. I can't believe Luke Dieter is one! He is getting cuter by the day, we are so happy he is ours!  Pictures coming soon!

Genivieve likes to sit and play in Luke's crib with him while I tidy up. This works wonders for me to actually get a task accomplished in 10 minutes. There was so much giggling that I had to come see what was going on.these two are the best.

We had a open Wednesday so we decided to join Daddy at School for lunch. The LDS Institute does Mid-Day Manna  for $1.  It is always so fun to go and see Dad in the middle of the day, what a treat!
