My girl is 2

On January 3rd, Miss Genivieve Olivia turned the big two! Oh how time fly's by. I was at the Ob's office for a check on the little guy on the second and He too could not believe it had already been two years. That day was a glorious one that has changed me forever. I never knew the intensity of a Mothers love until I laid eyes on G. She made me a Mother and I love being her mother. That day was magical and we can't wait to experience that again with the little mister.

I still tear up seeing this picture.

Here she is at her 1st Birthday. I love how little she Looks!

Now Our big two-year-old, I can't even Believe this!
she had an owl birthday party and Daddy made her an owl cake. He loves a good project.

Welcome 2013

I love new beginnings and a new year, well it doesn't get much better than that. 2012 way a busy year.

We started off with Brent and my Brother-in-law Warren getting lost in the Superstition mountains hiking and had to melt snow for drinking water, but they made it back to my sisters house with a few minutes to spare before midnight. It was a close one, but we both got to smooch our husbanads as we rang in the new year.

Next we celebrated Genivieve's first birthday, I love starting the year celebrating our little girls birth! She really is the greatest accomplishment for both of us.

Brent surprised me with a get-a-way just us two to an amazing resort and spa in Sedona while my parents watched Miss Vieve.  It was an amazing 24hrs, but we were ecstatic to get back to our baby. We picked her up at the lake, she had been sailing with Papa and Connie all day. It was fun to eat dinner on the lake and enjoy an evening sail. Oh and nurse my baby because I thought I was going to explode!
Our baby kept growing and developing. We were wondering how on earth she could get any cuter, but somehow it happened. Genivieve at 14 Months old.
We found out we were going to have another baby on Father's Day. Which was about the best gift ever for Brent!

The entire summer is a bit of a blur. Brent got his Associates Degree and spent the summer working full-time as well as doing and internship with Intel. We didn't see him much with his hours being from 3am-6pm! I was so ill with this pregnancy I didn't get off the couch except for being sick in the bathroom. Not Fun! Glad all that's over.In that time Brent turned 26 in May, we celebrated our Anniversary in June and I had a birthday in July.

Genivieve Started Nursery at Church!

September came and We decided it was time to get Us girls out of the house and the heat! So we all headed to LA to visit Auntie Andrea and Uncle Travis. It was a busy weekend, but oh so fun! I was still sick, but the cool air and beach sure helped!

Brent started his first semester at ASU and it was a transition for all of us. We got the car back and Brent rode his bike to and from school. It was great to get out of the house after a long summer being stranded at home!

We found out baby number two is a BOY! One of each, how blessed!

October came with some cooler weather and lots of fun fall activities and the start of Genivieve's Owl obsession.

I don't have any pictures of November... I need to do better.
2012 had plenty of ups and downs. Sometimes I don't know how we ever made it through, but we did. We have been very blessed even with all of our trials. Our theme for 2013 is Remember. We have a special jar to right down all of our happy memories and then on New Year's Eve we will dump out the jar and remember all the great events that happened this year. It will be a year of big changes I am sure, I hope we can make it through and my goal it to take more pictures with a camera and not just my phone. Happy New Year!

A week of Christmas

Christmas this year turned out to be great thanks to both of our families. It was a busy week with my cousin getting married out of town on the 21st, Christmas Sunday and Christmas with Brent's Mom and younger sister. Then Christmas Eve with Brent's Dad and Step-mom, Christmas morning with us three (which turned out to be rather low-key and dare I say boring) fallowed by dinner at my sisters house. Then Friday my two out-of-town sisters arrived and it was go-cart-racing and cousin playing fallowed by George Family Christmas on Saturday and everyone spending the night at my parents for an 8am blessing Sunday morning for my new nephew Duncan. Whew! Did you Catch all that? I am tired just recapping the week. Lots and lots of family time. Christmas may have lasted a week but what a fun week to spend with family, it was a rare treat and a very loud one with 9 soon to be 11 grand kids on my side.

It was nice not to be sick this year for Christmas, but being 32 weeks pregnant didn't give me much motivation. Oh well. Next year we will have to do more preparation. I'm sure having two kids and an almost three-year-old will make it much more lively!
