5 Months Old

I woke up this morning looking at my sweet girl thinking the newborn is long gone and we are in full baby mode. I was sad thinking of how fast she is growing and developing, but these are all great things and I am so thrilled she is doing them. I am so thankful I was able to enjoy snuggling my sweet baby every minute of the day for the first few months, never putting her down. I got to saver every minute of our time together and with her growing I know I haven't missed a thing.

Now that she is 5 months old our days are spent doing more than just sitting and staring at each other. Genivieve is a very busy girl, she absolutely loves her toys! She is fond of her swing, as are we. I have said it before and I'll say it again, "Heaven Bless the inventor of the baby swing!" She has a few favorite toys, "Donna Bunny", "Crinkle Elephant", "the talking butterfly" and "the vibrating monster that hangs from the carseat".

• She love to eat baby prunes and sweet potatoes but doesn't care for carrots, peas, green beans or rice cereal.
• she can roll from her tummy to her back and is on the verge on going fro her back to her tummy. 
• she loves bath time, it's the best way to put her in a good mood.
• she now loves her new carseat and will play or fall asleep in the car. (went from graco to chicco)
• she can sit up with a little support and loves to play. 
• Great a nursing still
• loves to smile and laugh an Mom and Dad
• and the BIG one. You now sleep in your crib and go to sleep all by yourself and have been for two weeks now! Hooray.
