Life here in the south side of what people like to call "the most livable city" is full of change. We have worked hard on getting settled into our first little home. Staying busy with the day-to-day life and loving each other. In the last few months I learned that life doesn't go as I plan, but that's ok because it was not such a great plan to begin with. Learning to trust in our Heavenly Father and His plan is a much better use of my time.
We love our new start here and our ward. We already delivered our "arrival address", it was fun to introduce our new family unit, I always wondered what it would be like. (I remember thinking back in my young women days how cute all the newlyweds were and how much I loved hearing about their dating story.) It was also a treat to see and listen to my husband speak in church and to share his testimony. It was such a fun treat.
Life in the married realm in a challenge to juggle. I thought it would be a piece-of-cake but life goes on and hopefully in time I'll learn to be better at juggling.
This last week was full of birthday celebrations for my twenty-first birthday. My husband who unleased his hidden culinary talent made me a spectacular two-layed butter cake with chocolate frosting, whipped edges, piping and hand crafted flowers on top. SERIOUSLY, it was spectacular!

=0 SERIOUSLY SPECTACULAR IS RIGHT. Oh my heck!!!! What a stud.
I love how you talked about how life doesn't go as we planned it, which is good because if we trust in the Lord, life will go MUCH better than we could have ever planned it!! I needed that today.
Love you bunches.
