Park City with Paige

My college roommate Paige lives in Park City and was so awesome to drive all the way up to Rexburg to pick all three of us up and let us spend the weekend with her in Park City. We had a blast driving around Rexburg and reminiscing about all our fun times. she really made college so fun for me and we always spend hours laughing together. It was such a treat to see her. We haven't been together since my wedding.

Before we left Rexburg, Genivieve insisted on going to see the temple. She loves the temple so much and loves to visit every one we see.  She is such a sweet girl and I happily will take her to every temple.

begging to go inside.. 10 more years my girl.

WE love to see the temple!
We stayed at the cutest condo in Park City right text to the outlets. It was right out of a Pottery Barn catalog. When we woke up we headed down to SLC and to the new mall by temple square. We stopped to eat at Kneaders because I just HAD to try it out after all the delicious instagram post about it and my oh my it was fantastic!

Vieve devoured the chocolate mousse
We stopped by LUSH for some fun bath bombs and we also got to participate in a world record for kissing my putting on lipstick and kissing a shirt. So glad we could also help spread awareness against animal cruelty and animal testing.

G loved getting lipstick on!

pink lips!

Walking temple square is always a treat! G said she wants to get married in the temple. so sweet.

It was the greatest weekend with Paige. We love you and miss you! Thanks for a fun adventure especially with my two babes in tow.

4th of July and Gymnastics

Independence Day in Rexburg is one of my favorite holidays. There is a huge parade down Main St. and everyone is so patriotic it has all the small town charm you could ask for.  We loved seeing the Mormon Mustang flying and we were so sad Brent missed it, so was he. Genivieve loved gathering candy from the passing floats and we left with a great tan on our right sides.

While we were in rexburg we joined in on a tot Gymnastic class that was oh so fun. When I cheered at BYU-I we would go every Wednesday night to the same gym to tumble and practice, so again it was so fun taking Vieve there. She was a little hesitant at first but she loved it and did so well.

June and rexburg fun

June was a hot month around here and with a record heat wave of 120+ coming we headed to Utah and Idaho for almost two weeks to see some family and friends. I think I lost my mind thinking that it would be manageable with just me and two kids. But somehow we all survived and managed to have a good time.

We spent the first week in Rexburg, ID. It was so fun to see the town were I went to college. It has grown so much and is so much cooler now.  It was a treat to take my kids to so many places around town that I loved to hang out at. We stayed with my friend Shannon and our girls who are only 2 days apart had lots of practice sharing for the whole week.

Genivieve and Paige

Our ward is pretty lean when it comes to little kids and little girls are even harder to find to play with. This summer we won the lottery with Paige and her sweet mom Lyndsy. They were great company and we had so much fun braving the heat with them. They have now moved back to Utah and we miss them so much, those little girls were so cute playing together and Paige's little brother Karter is just as sweet!
