Mothers Day

For Mothers Day this year we went just outside of Eager, AZ to Big Lake for some unplugged family time. It was freezing at night and in the fifties during the day. Brent's Dad and step-mom and their two girls came too and made it so fun. We huddled by the fire and the girls played and the men went fishing. Can you imagine the campsite was empty we were the only ones there. Guess Mother's Day weekend is not a popular camping weekend.

I am so grateful to be a mother and couldn't have asked for cuter kids. I love them and would do anything for them. Being a Mother was my dream and because of them I have become a better me. I have learned from the best. My Mother is one of the most selfless people I know, thanks for always serving and loving and being a wonderful example to me.

May Adventures

May was a busy month around here, but I am starting to think that is the only pace of life and our family grows. Brent finished his first year at ASU and started a summer internship. We are so proud of him but miss him during the week while he is out of town working. I am falling into the life with two kids while getting chores done. Genivieve has started to show interest in potty training and some days are successful and others I wonder why oh why I put myself through this pain. The days are getting hotter and the pool is the activity of choice. These days are crazy but I will always love that I get to keep my babes in my home with me all day and shelter them from the world. Our time really is magical mixed with moments I question my sanity. These kids really fill me with joy. I have always wanted to be a mother and they sure make my days pretty great.

Luke 2 Month Update

Luke at 2 Months.  He is 13lbs (75%) and 26in long (95%). Poor guy got 5 shots and fell asleep before we even got to the front desk.
