Genivieve lately

My girl, you are sure growing up. You are 13 months and sweet as pie. You have decided that you like to walk more than crawl and you can get yourself back up after you loose balance. I love to see you learn and grow. You make some hilarious faces when you don't get want you want but you are not a screamer, at least not yet. Heaven bless you for that!

blueberries and Sesame Street

You love to eat your Italian Ice, but you love to share with Mom and Dad too
You have become a big Mama's Girl but of course you still love to snuggle with Dad. You love to watch Sesame Street but are not interested in anything else. But we don't turn the TV on much during the day anyway. You have joined us at the table to eat and love being included. You have requested to have your own fork and try to put your food on it to eat just like us.

I am in awe of how you observe the world around you and what you pick up on. You are doing better at folding your arms during prayers, but that is a reverent as you get, so well done for being so tiny!

You just started to nod your head "yes" and man alive is it cute! Dad and I join in just to keep you doing it, you love it when we play along.

You still mostly wear your 9 month clothes, but some days I put you in 12 months, but they really are too big. You wear a size 2 shoe still and it is impossible to find shoes to fit your tiny feet that are made for walking babies. But you love your Sperry's so we wear those most every day.

Sailing on Georgie Girl

My parents got a sail boat and have enjoyed the new adventure. While were in Sedona and they were watching Miss Vieve, they all went out sailing. Genivieve loved watching the other sail boats and they said she was pretty content. I'm sure she was much easier to sail with than the other grand kids who are mobile in a life vest. What a nice break for them. :) Brent and I met them at the dock and they took us out sailing and dinner on the lake. It was so relaxing, you would almost forget you are in Arizona.

So excited to see us after 24 hrs

she even had her boat shoes on

parked and ready for dinner
Thanks for taking care of our baby and taking us sailing.
