Daddy's Day Off

Between work and school Brent's time is stretch pretty thin so we don't get a lot of time to just enjoy and day together. With a few weeks between semesters he took a day off and just spent it with his girls, lucky us!

We started the off by sleeping in until 10am. It was heavenly! Next, I got my hair cut and Vieve and Dad enjoyed some together time. It is so great having Brent around to help, I was in desperate need of a trim! For lunch we enjoyed some southern BBQ that was delicious and made me long to be back in the South... one day.

Off to the mall to work off some calories. While perusing some stores I told Brent that we just had to go to Janie and Jack, a children store and just oow and aww over all the cute but ridiculously expensive clothes. While perusing the sale rack he found the perfect sun hat for Genivieve and she soon became the talk of all the ladies in the store.

Once we got home we all jumped in our suits and headed for the pool. Oh how I love busy fun days with my family. Oh, how I love them, so!

Fun Day

My good friend Shannon was over on our side of town so we decided to meet up at the Mesa Temple Visitor Center with our girls and enjoy the temple grounds. We watched the new Jospeh Smith movie (it's like all the others) and enjoyed the special spirit there. I love spending all day with Vieve, she is such a joy.

First Food

Our baby is growing up so fast, we gave her rice cereal for the first time. She was so confused and wasn't quite sure what to do or even how to swallow. But by the end she was loving it!

Girls Night

I am loving girls night with MY little girl. After a relaxing bath we both warmed up in our robes and I gave us pedicures. She was is so sweet and too cute in her robe, I just had to take a picture to show Brent when he got home.

I am so glad I have a girl to do all these fun things with, she is so cute, and funny and I love that we get to spend all day together.
